Flyer Posting Procedure

 

The North Adams Public Schools, as a voluntary community resource, agrees to post flyers on the District’s website for non-sponsored groups that offer academic and/or enrichment activities and programs. North Adams Public Schools is not responsible and assumes no liability for non-sponsored groups.  No flyers will be posted for activities or programs that charge a fee, unless the flyer clearly stipulates that no child will be excluded because of an inability to pay.   Non-sponsored groups are solely responsible for compliance with applicable laws, including the equal access provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).  Additionally, parents/guardians are solely responsible for ensuring that adequate protections are in place to meet their child’s health concerns, such as life threatening allergies.

 

Flyers will be approved for distribution on a rolling basis and must be submitted to the Office of the Superintendent via e-mail to Ellen Sutherland at esutherland@napsk12.org. If possible, please submit flyers as a PDF file.

 

Once a flyer has been approved it will be posted on the District’s website www.napsk.org under Community Flyers for no longer than 30 days. Paper copies of flyers will not be distributed.
