Enrollment and Assessment Coordinator, ABE Program

Location: Drury High School

This position is for the school year only. Provides program support for the Adult Basic Education program in the following areas: student and community out reach, online links development, media and web presence, records keeping, report designing, and enrollment responsibilities. Oversees student assessment and provides teaching staff with relevant reports. Attend staff meetings and engage in professional training as needed to stay current in DESE policies and reporting requirements.

Hours per day: 3-6

Days per week: 3-5

not to exceed 19 hours per week

Hourly rate: $20

Anticipated start date: January 17, 2022.

Requirements:

  • Organization a must with the ability to prioritize tasks

  • Ability and willingness to learn new technology

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Some nights and weekends/flexible schedule

    Physical Requirements: The position requires a moderate amount of walking, standing, sitting and climbing stairs and step stool whenever necessary. Activities also include moderate physical exertion in body movement such as reaching, bending, twisting, grasping, pushing, and pulling of objects. The position requires lifting objects of 20 pounds on a frequent basis, and over 20 pounds occasionally. There is a frequent requirement of fine manipulation associated with the required use of a computer, typewriter, keyboard, calculator, and other business machines.

    Environmental Conditions: The occupant is required to work indoors. The regular chemical solvents are toners, inks, and cleaning fluids.
