ST Math Champions will provide support to colleagues in the planning for ST math integration, the use of the ST Math platform, and in assessing where students are and how to plan for their advancement. This position is school year with possible PD/conference attendance in the summer. Will work for 1-2 hours per week. Start date upon appointment.

Salary: $675 stipend

Requirements:      

•  Must be a K-6 educator.

• Confident in the use of ST Math, technology; knowledge of ST Math across grade levels preferred.

• Strong communicator

• Flexible and creative approach to teaching and coaching preferred.

Physical Requirements:         The position requires a moderate amount of walking, standing, sitting and climbing stairs and step stool whenever necessary.  Activities also include moderate physical exertion in body movement such as reaching, bending, twisting, grasping, pushing, and pulling of objects.  The position requires lifting objects of 20 pounds on a frequent basis, and over 20 pounds occasionally.  There is a frequent requirement of fine manipulation associated with the required use of a computer, typewriter, keyboard, calculator, and other business machines.
