21st Century Summer Program Academic Leader

Location: Greylock Elementary School

Description: Design, implement and assess summer learning program for a specific grade level, K-6.  Programs are science-based but also reinforce ELA, math, and SEL with a heavy emphasis on project-based learning. Summer programs require an aspect of physical activities, outdoor experiences, and opportunities for artistic expression.  Summer programs are also supported by individuals who target particular skills (PE, ELA or math interventions, etc.) so there is an opportunity for collaboration. Work with, and direct, assistants to help support student needs.

Summer program hours: 8:00am-3:00pm ,Mon-Friday, except July 4, for 19 days plus additional professional development hours if needed. The program is anticipated to run from July 1, 2024 through July 26, 2024.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree required. Availability for program duration for continuity of service provision. Prior experience delivering 21st Century (or similar) programming preferred.

Salary: $32 per hour, pending grant funding and enrollment.
