Canvas building-based champions (1 per school)

Location: Drury High School, Brayton, Colegrove Park and Greylock Elementary Schools
Building champions will serve as Canvas and instructional technology building-based support coaches and provide assistance to teachers in understanding how to use Canvas as a learning platform. Champions will work with district and school administration to provide input and guidance around Canvas and instructional technology and their integration into NAPS teaching and learning. Champions will plan and implement professional development to faculty members around the use of Canvas and associated technology resources. Champions will also need to provide day to day support as requested by colleagues.
Salary: $1000 stipend
Required: Current NAPS building-based teacher. Ability to train outside of school hours. Experience with instructional technology.
Preferred: Previous experience with Canvas.
Physical Requirements: The position requires a moderate amount of walking, standing, sitting and climbing stairs and step stool whenever necessary. Activities also include moderate physical exertion in body movement such as reaching, bending, twisting, grasping, pushing, and pulling of objects. The position requires lifting objects of 20 pounds on a frequent basis, and over 20 pounds occasionally. There is a frequent requirement of fine manipulation associated with the required use of a computer, typewriter, keyboard, calculator, and other business machines.
