North Adams Public Schools, a department of the City of North Adams, acting by and through its Chief Procurement Officer, is soliciting sealed bids for the purchase of surplus cafeteria equipment, including:

Bidding procedures will be in accordance with the latest edition of M.G.L. c. 30B. Each bid should be accompanied by a certified check payable to the order of the North Adams Public Schools in the amount of such bid, which such check shall be returned to the bidder in the event that their bid is not accepted. Bidders on the dishwasher must also include a non-collusion form. All bids should be addressed to Nancy Rauscher, North Adams Public Schools, Second Floor,10 Main Street, North Adams, MA 01247. These bids will be received until 11:00 a.m. January 29, 2025, at which time all bids will be publicly opened in Conference Room 202 and read aloud. Any bids received after the specified time will not be accepted. All bids will be submitted in a sealed envelope(s) clearly marked:

Each item will be awarded to the responsive bidder offering the highest price for said item described in each IFB. Winning bidders will be required to remove the purchased supplies within 10 business days of the bid opening/purchase. North Adams Public Schools reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to dispose of each listed item through a negotiated sale, provided that the negotiated sale price is higher than the highest bid received from a responsive bidder. Bids shall be valid for 30 business days after the bid receipt date. Also reserved is the right to reject, for cause, any bid in part or whole, if it is judged by the Chief Procurement Officer that the best interests of the North Adams Public Schools will be served thereby. All Bidders will receive consideration without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
