Director of ABE Summer Program
Location: Drury High School
Description: This position oversees all aspects of summer programming including but not limited to staff, student enrollment , grant management and scheduling of tutoring support, and monitoring student progress. The director, with the student advisor, will review MAPT scores and monitor student goal plans. This position is for the summer only.
Hours per day: 6-8
Days per week: 4 for a total of 4 weeks
Salary: A stipend of $6, 705.00
Anticipated start date: July 5, 2022
Requirements:
Working knowledge of ABE policies in accordance with DESE expectations
MAPT Certified
Knowledge of ABE CCRSAE standards and curriculum resources
Understand the ABE grant process with emphasis on funds for materials/supplies
Physical Requirements: The position requires a moderate amount of walking, running, standing, sitting and climbing stairs and step stool whenever necessary. Activities also include moderate physical exertion in body movement such as reaching, bending, twisting, grasping, pushing, and pulling of objects. The position requires lifting objects of 20 pounds on a frequent basis, and over 20 pounds occasionally. There is a frequent requirement of fine manipulation associated with the required use of a computer, typewriter, keyboard, calculator, and other business machines.
Environmental Conditions: The occupant is required to work indoors. The regular chemical solvents are toners, inks, and cleaning fluids.
