K-6 MATHEMATICS SPECIAL PROJECT PARTICIPANT

Location: Brayton, Colegrove Park and Greylock Elementary Schools.

Description: K-6 mathematics special project participants will participate in one or more of the following projects:

(1) implement a minimum of 2 mathematics curriculum units (or the equivalent) as part of the field test coordinated by the Mathematics Curriculum Council and provide feedback to the Curriculum Council on the field test implementation, or

(2) collaborate with members of the Curriculum Council and district leadership team to plan and implement steps for the adoption of a new mathematics curriculum for 2024-2025 including creating revised curriculum maps, identifying common assessments, and/or developing professional development materials for implementation in the summer and fall.

This grant funded position is for the school year only.

Total Hours : approximately 15  outside of the school day              Days per week: N/A

Salary: $500 stipend
