Today's Berkshire Eagle quotes Mayor Bernard stating, "We know that hunger and food insecurity have increased this year." To gather donations to the Al Nelson Friendship Center Food Pantry, we have placed donation boxes in each of the schools and central office. These boxes are for school district staff and students who are scheduled to be in their respective building to make donations. The food drive will run from 12/1/2020 through 12/11/2020.
As schools remain closed to the public, any community member seeking to make a donation should contact Tina Samson at City Hall. Tina will be available to accept donations from the public if scheduled in advance. Tina can be reached at (413) 662-3040. Thank you!
