Due to circumstances outside the band’s control, the DPAC Halloween Concert scheduled for tonight, Wednesday, October 28th, is unfortunately postponed.

Thanks to a new two-year grant from the W.L.S. Spencer Foundation and a partnership with the Clark, the UNO Drop-in Art Club is expanding from a summer program into a 50-week offering!
📅 When: Every Wednesday, 3–5 p.m.
📍 Where: UNO Community Center, 157 River Street, North Adams
Every week, kids can create art inspired by the Clark’s exhibits. Snacks and materials are provided free of charge. The program has already kicked off, so come on by anytime!
🚌 The grant also provides free transportation to and from the Clark’s First Sundays Free program and Annual Community Day.
Please note: children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult or caregiver.

Today, our Drury Portrait of a Graduate student leaders visited Abbott Memorial School on Florida Mountain to kick off a big conversation: What does it take to be an “ideal learner?”

📅 Deadline: October 30, 2026
Who can apply? Families who:
✅ Currently live or work in the Northern Berkshire area
✅ Are living in inadequate housing or paying more than 30% of household income on housing
✅ Are willing to partner with Habitat, including 250 sweat equity hours per adult, building their home and future homes
✅ Have a stable income within Habitat's limits, manageable debt, and a positive credit history
Income ranges (annual):
👤 1 person: $27,650 to $73,650
👥 2 people: $31,600 to $84,200
👨👩👦 3 people: $35,550 to $94,700
👨👩👧👦 4 people: $39,450 to $105,200

Habitat will calculate an affordable mortgage so that housing costs (principal, interest, property taxes, and homeowner insurance) do not exceed 30% of your income. Materials and services are donated, which helps keep costs lower than conventional housing.

Start With Hello week continued with another successful Walk To School Day this morning! Students and families from Brayton and Colegrove, alongside our friends from Northern Berkshire Community Coalition and the North Adams Fire Department, made their way to school today as "walking school buses" despite the chill in the air. Walk To School Day is our favorite opportunity to start the day off with movement and community along safe, common routes to school.
FCSN (Federation for Children with Special Needs) has released their October workshop calendar, and it's open to our families and educators as a MassPAC member district!
